Tell us about yourself.
I grew up on the Canadian border in Minnesota, near Baudette. I learned about life with my two brothers and two sisters from some pretty amazing parents. I also have a crazy amount of extended family that I am close with, most of whom live near Baudette.

After high school I went to Itasca Community College in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, and then transferred to Minnesota State University Moorhead where I graduated with a degree in paralegal studies. I currently live in Fargo and I am married to Chris with two awesome kids: Kiersten (11) and Kellen (8).

What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy all time that I spend with family and friends. I also enjoy attending my kids’ activities, staying active, taking naps, and traveling back home (“up north”). Our family is involved at Prairie Heights Community Church in West Fargo, and I am a member of the Fargo Optimist Club.

How long have you been at Heartland Trust Company?
I started working at Heartland Trust Company in February 2018. I was previously a paralegal for 13 years and have a background in corporate law, contracts, collections, and probate.

What is your favorite part about working for Heartland Trust Company?
I enjoy the challenge of the work I do each day and know that I will always be learning new things. I also enjoy helping people and having the confidence that the people around me feel the same way.

Lastly, I believe that the truly authentic team mentality here at Heartland is really unique. I am grateful that this is where I get to spend my work days.
