As I reflect on Heartland Trust’s 35 years, I am filled with gratitude for our wonderful clients who have put their trust in our services, our past and present team members, and our relationships within the community. At the very
beginning, a group of outside investors helped Steve get started, and local professionals vouched for him, believing that an independent trust company would benefit our community and region. As Steve’s son, I couldn’t be more
proud of my dad and the strong foundation built with Sheryl Bernier, Gary Hanson, and Neil Jordheim. These three hold a special place in Heartland’s heart, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them. As a leader, I am proud to walk in the path they paved.
