Kristen Grove is an administrative associate who primarily supports retirement services. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and her spare time is occupied with a multitude of hobbies.
Tell us about about yourself.
I was born in Williston, North Dakota, but moved to Fargo at the age of 11. I have two amazing parents, a sister, two brothers, two sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, three nieces, and three nephews. Upon graduation from Fargo South High School, I attended Concordia College and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications with an emphasis on public relations and advertising in 2003. My collegiate studies also focused on journalism and pre-law.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with my family and large extended family as well as my friends. I also enjoy cooking and baking, tending to my flower garden, reading anything biographical or history related, researching and studying the genealogy of my 100 percent Norwegian ancestry, writing, and singing. I’m also a huge fan of a vast array of movies and music ranging from classics to the latest releases.
How long have you been at Heartland Trust Company?
I started working at Heartland Trust Company in June 2018. During the past four years, I was employed at a local financial services firm and have worked various positions in the fields of marketing, client relations, and media since graduating college.
What is your favorite part about working for Heartland Trust Company?
I’m thankful to work for a company that truly values its clients and employees. Also, the team atmosphere here at Heartland is very special, and I look forward to the opportunities ahead of me.
- 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 6 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 package of Pepperidge Farm’s crumbled dressing
- ½ cup (1 stick) of butter, melted
Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Spray 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray and arrange chicken breasts in dish. Season chicken with salt and pepper to taste and top each piece of chicken with a slice of swiss cheese. Mix the milk and can of soup together; then pour the mixture evenly over the cheese. Spread the crumbled dressing (you will use half the bag or more) over the top and then drizzle the melted butter over the stuffing mix. Bake uncovered at 300 degrees for 2 hours.
